The Noland News: Third Edition

 

Here's The Third Edition of the Noland News!

Last week’s Update (10/21/19 to 10/27/19):
On Monday Oct. 21 I held conference calls and meetings with staff.

On Tuesday Oct. 22 I met with Veterans officials. This was a private meeting.

On Wednesday Oct. 23 I attended the Indivisible Fighting #9 Meeting. The meeting was held at 7:00 pm at the First United Methodist Church in Ferndale and was open to the public.

On Thursday Oct. 24 I canvassed and gathered signatures in Almont. We were near the four corners, in front of post office. I was able to meet with many great people from our district and recruited at least one new volunteer.

On Friday Oct. 25 I attended a Port Huron county meeting with Jodi Sanderson. She will be taking the lead for our campaign in that part of the district.

On Saturday Oct. 26 I took pictures for my campaign website and social media while enjoying the beautiful fall colors. I also held phone meetings for most of the day.

On Sunday Oct. 27 I attended the MI 10th Congressional District Membership meeting. The meeting was held from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM at the Countryside Banquet Center in Imlay City. This event was open to the public.

 

This Week’s Schedule (10/28/19 to 11/03/19):
On Monday Oct. 28 I held conference calls and meetings with campaign staff.

On Tuesday Oct. 29 I’m attending Fred Miller's "Campaign Coneys" fall fundraiser. The fundraiser will be held from 5:30-7:00 pm at the Infinity Hall & Sidebar in Fraser. There is a cost to attend.

On Wednesday Oct. 30 I’m attending the Regional Transit Town Hall at the Dorothy M. Busch Library in Warren. The town hall starts at 6 pm and all are welcome to attend.

On Thursday Oct. 31 Our campaign will be having a staff meeting.

On Friday Nov.1 I’ll be canvassing and gathering signatures in Port Huron at the Kroger parking lot, the library and courthouse.

On Saturday Nov. 2 I’ll be going shopping in preparation for an packing event for US troops stationed overseas by women Marines. I may also be involved with asking for or picking up donations. The packing event will be held Nov. 16 in Romeo; hosted by the North Oakland VFW Post 334.
